Isabel Breininger combines two passions: art and medicine. Her interest in painting was sparked early on, as her mother had begun studying applied arts. At 18, Isabel also decided to study architecture.

But medicine also fascinated the inquisitive student. Four of her family are doctors. Isabel thus pursued a career as a radiologist, without ever neglecting her painting.

"My paintings arise from what I see and feel in nature. I absorb these impressions with all my senses and allow them to flow into my own visual language. In this process, what I see transforms into a new form – sometimes recognizable, sometimes abstract. My powerful color compositions on the canvas combine positive energy with my personal view of the world. I want to share this vibrancy in the paintings with the viewers – everyone is welcome and encouraged to discover their own impressions and feelings within them. Through various materials and techniques, I create paintings that invite contemplation and perhaps even bring a smile to your face."

In her studio, Isabel Breininger continually creates new visual worlds, combining her experiences as a doctor and artist into powerful compositions. She constantly develops her forms of expression and invites viewers to become part of her energetic artistic journey of discovery.
